The DPH combines Level 2 retention, while encouraging proper trigger finger placement upon presentation. This innovative design requires a straightened trigger finger to disengage the retention pressure being applied to the trigger guard within the holster. Trigger finger placement alongside the slide/frame, rather than the trigger, is easily accomplished as the draw sequence is performed. Retention pressure is reapplied automatically upon reholstering. Due to the need for fine motor skills required to disengage holster retention, and the diminishment of these skills under stress or pressure, this product is not recommended for tactical usage.
